Two 20-year-olds were arrested Thursday morning at a northwest Atlanta apartment building on fraud charges, police said.

A woman and man were both taken into custody around 9:30 a.m. at the Berkeley Heights apartments at 1700 Northside Drive, Atlanta police spokeswoman Lisa Bender told AJC.com.

Bender said police initially responded to the apartment complex after Atlanta Fire Rescue asked them to check on a minor trash fire at the building, but the two were taken into custody after “possibly fraudulent activity” and “suspicious items” were found.
