Three teenagers have been arrested after multiple car break-ins overnight in Glenwood Park.

Tyler Hardnett, 17, Deon Cheney, 17, and Aaron Jones, 18, are in the Fulton County Jail on charges of entering auto in connection with the break-ins, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty said.

Chaney and Hardnett had previously been arrested in DeKalb County for theft by receiving and theft by taking, respectively.

According to police, officers responded to a suspicious-person call at the Glenwood Park Lofts on Stovall Street about 1 a.m. Thursday.

Officers searched the parking lot and found the teens hiding in two vehicles that were both reported stolen from Gwinnett County.

“Further investigation revealed that the group had damaged seven vehicles, entering at least five of those vehicles,” Daugherty said.

It is not clear what, if anything, was taken from the cars.

An investigation is ongoing.
