Justin Taylor was all set for his date with Maquwell Fleming, a 17-year-old girl he’d met on Instagram, Cobb County police told Channel 2 Action News.

The 18-year-old had earned $160 from his job and likely intended to spend it on the July 17 meet-up in Marietta, police said.

But those plans fell through when Fleming got in the backseat of Taylor’s car and pointed a gun at his head, authorities told Channel 2.

She allegedly took the $160 and sped away from the Walmart parking lot on Chastain Meadows Parkway, where the two decided to meet.

Taylor drove after Fleming, but he was stopped by police on Ga. 92 in Woodstock, Channel 2 reported. That’s when he told them about the alleged armed robbery.

Fleming kept speeding after Taylor was stopped, but she was eventually arrested, Channel 2 reported.

She remains in the Cobb County Jail without bond.
