A man accused of killing a man found in a shopping cart last month was arrested Wednesday, Atlanta police and jail records confirmed.
Details on Landus McBride’s arrest were not released.
Atlanta police identified McBride, 42, of Atlanta, earlier this week in the death of Thomas Hall.
Hall, 38, was found July 7 covered in a tarp in a shopping cart at the intersection of Sylvan Road and Murphy Avenue, police said.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Hall suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Police initially said there were no obvious signs of foul play.
No other details were released in the case.
McBride remains in the Fulton County jail on murder and aggravated assault charges.
