South Fulton murder suspect captured in Mississippi

A suspect in a South Fulton deadly shooting was captured in Mississippi on Thursday after two months on the run.

Patrick Thornton, 23, was identified as a suspect in the Sept. 28 death of David Jolley, according to South Fulton police. Jolley, 44, was found shot at a home on Demooney Road.

No other details about the deadly shooting have been released.

U.S. marshals with the Gulf Coast Task Force took Thornton into custody Thursday morning. He will be extradited to Fulton County to face a charge of murder, police said.
