1 shot at Cherokee County restaurant
One person was shot Thursday evening at the Taqueria Oaxaquena restaurant in Cherokee County
One person was shot Thursday evening at the Taqueria Oaxaquena II restaurant along Marietta Road in Canton, police said.
An alleged shooter ran out the back of the restaurant, Ofc. Brantley Wortley said, but was caught a short time later.
Wortley said police don’t know how many people were inside the restaraunt at the time of the shooting.
The victim was taken to Kennestone Hospital in critcal condition, Wortley said.
The investigation is ongoing.
