A former manager at a Roswell restaurant faces a rape charge after allegedly sexually assaulting a coworker at his home, authorities said.

Police were called to WellStar North Fulton Hospital on June 10 by a female employee of Mazzy’s Sports Bar and Grill off Alpharetta Highway who reported the alleged sexual assault that happened earlier that morning, according to a Roswell police incident report.

Cody Klinepeter was arrested June 13 and charged with rape, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

The restaurant’s owner told AJC.com that Klinepeter was fired after the arrest. He wouldn’t comment further on the incident.

Klinepeter remains in jail without bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
