The employees of a mom-and-pop pharmacy in downtown Roswell were tied up and robbed by two armed men looking to steal prescription pain pills, authorities said.
The robbery occurred two weeks ago in the middle of the day, less than a five-minute walk from the Roswell police station, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Surveillance video appears to show two gunmen enter the Wender and Roberts store on Atlanta Street before ordering the employees to the ground and zip-tying their feet.
That’s when the suspects went on a stealing spree, Roswell police Lt. Noah Caplan told the news station.
“The men stole cash and prescription drugs from the business and then fled the scene,” he said. “The concern is that these are very powerful narcotics and we definitely don’t want them to get into the wrong hands.”
