A Roswell man decided to take matters into his own hands after someone broke into his car.

Mark Morgan is charged with aggravated assault after police say he shot at a company van, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Morgan was in the parking lot of Andretti’s when he noticed his car was broken into and several items were missing.

A white van was spotted leaving the area about the same time as the robbing, which caused Morgan to jump to conclusions, Channel 2 reported.

“He believed those were the people who had just broken into his car,” Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland told the news station.

That’s when Morgan pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at the van – driven by an Andretti Indoor Karting and Games employee who had just finished his shift.

Police told Channel 2 neither the van nor the driver had anything to do with the robbery.

Morgan remained in the Fulton County Jail on Monday.
