As reporter Adam Sallet of KIMT neared the end of a live update on a robbery at a bank in Rochester, Minnesota, it happened again.
"That's the robber," an employee said to Sallet. "That's him right there."
The reporter turned back to the camera and told his audience, "This is live TV, folks. I have to go. I have to call 911."
The station reported that the robber hit the bank Monday before taking off in an SUV. When he tried to rob the bank again around 11 a.m. Tuesday, he was caught.
"We had an officer nearby investigating an accident," Police Capt. John Sherwin told The Post-Bulletin. "Once he got the call, he was able to get there very quickly."
Police said the accused robber was taken into custody wearing a green sweatshirt with the phrase, "Get lucky" and an image of a four-leaf clover on the front. He is now in jail.
