A Florida sheriff brought in an armored truck, helicopter, dozens of deputies and even SWAT members on a man presumed to be armed and dangerous.

What they found was a sleeping homeless man with a bag of food, the Miami Herald reports.

Manatee County sheriff's spokesman Dave Bristow told the Herald that law enforcement saw what they thought could be a weapon. It was a bottle of wine in a bag.

The homeless man, who was found sleeping in a church, could not be charged, the Herald reports.
