Two women are wanted for stealing hair at a store in Tennessee, according to police.

Details of the incident were posted on the Memphis Police Department's Facebook page and reported by WHBQ.

The suspects entered Industry Locs Hair in Memphis Tuesday. They asked to buy a wig, and when the employee placed them on the counter, they grabbed the wigs and ran out.

Police said the females drove away in a blue Chevy Malibu.

The total amount of hair stolen was more than $1,300, according to the police report.

The Memphis Police Department posted surveillance camera images of the pair on Facebook, asking for the public's help in the case.
