One Pennsylvania woman failed to make a clean getaway, but she did manage to clean some clothes.
According to the Pocono Record, Kelly Bancroft was charged with burglary and criminal trespass when she was found in the bathroom of her neighbor's house
The neighbor, Sharla Murray, told police that she went into her bathroom around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and found Bancroft washing clothes in the bathtub with shampoo.
The Record reports Bancroft locked the bathroom door when Murray asked how she had gotten into the apartment. When Murray left to get help, Bancroft fled the apartment, leaving her laundry in the tub and strewn throughout the bathroom.
Bancroft is due to appear in court on Oct. 22.
