Officers arrested an alleged gang member Tuesday who allegedly kept a cache of ammunition and three handguns in a Winnie the Pooh backpack found tucked under a toddler's crib.

Police in Madison, Wisconsin, arrested Xavier D. Davis, 20, on charges of resisting/obstructing, felony bail jumping and various warrants Tuesday, NBC 15 reported.

Authorities found the Winnie the Pooh backpack under a child's crib in an apartment Davis had stayed in, according to the Madison Police Department.

“The backpack was identified as belonging to the suspect,” the police said in a news release. “A resident told police she was unaware there were weapons inside the home, let alone under a crib and inside a child's backpack.”

Inside the bag officers found three handguns, a cache of ammunition and several magazines capable of holding 15 to more than 30 rounds, authorities said.
