A man who robbed a Motel 6 on Delk Road in broad daylight Friday is still on the loose and is considered potentially armed and dangerous, according to Marietta police.
The incident happened at about 10 a.m. when a man walked up to the registration counter of the motel at 2360 Delk Road, and confronted the front desk clerk, police said.
The suspect told the clerk he had a gun in his jacket pocket and demanded money from the register. Police said the clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and then fled into an office area and out a back exit.

The suspect was last seen in the parking lot of the hotel on foot walking toward Delk Road.
The Marietta Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect through video footage. He should be considered potentially armed and dangerous, police said.
