Police are asking for the public’s help to solve an Atlanta homicide.
On March 29, Atlanta police officers responded to a report of a dead person in the 900 block of Oakland Drive in southwest Atlanta.
Howell Barron, 39, was killed by a gunshot wound to his upper right shoulder, authorities said.
Police have identified an individual they believe could help them with the investigation, police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.
Photos of the man, who is not considered a suspect, have been released, and investigators are asking that anyone with information about the man call police at 404-546-4235 or call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
