A Tennessee woman was slapped and grabbed by the neck when she refused to give her boyfriend money for weed, according to a police affidavit.
Quinton Bowie, 33, is charged with domestic assault – bodily harm. His arrest stems from an incident in North Memphis on August 11.
The victim told officers her boyfriend, Bowie, became violent when she wouldn't "give him money to buy weed," according to court documents. The defendant allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck and slapped her on the face.
Police documents bruising on both the victim’s face and neck, according to the affidavit.
