Officials said Quarles, who was driving a green pickup truck pulling a landscape trailer, cut Seiz off at the I-575 exit ramp near Bells Ferry Road. The two drivers argued for about two miles before Quarles allegedly pulled out a gun and fired twice, Channel 2 reported.

Police said they sifted through surveillance video and identified Quarles thanks to his distinct landscaping trailer. They also found that he was being held in the Clayton County jail on unrelated charges.

An arrest warrant stated that the shooting “seriously disfigured Neil Seiz’s face” and that he couldn’t use his neck and jaw for months, according to Channel 2.
