Police: Buckhead suspicious package no threat
A suspicious package reported in Buckhead turned out to be lost baggage, police said.
The package was reported in the 3100 block of Peachtree Road around 4:15 p.m., according to Atlanta Police dispatch.
Officers were on scene to investigate and determined that it “was lost property and no threat,” Officer John Chaffee said.
It was unclear how the investigation impacted rush-hour traffic.
