Police: Barrow man robbed, stabbed in neck; fire set in house

A man was arrested and accused of stabbing a Barrow County man in the neck five times and setting items in his house on fire, a deputy said.

Dennis Walker, 46, told sheriff’s deputies he invited Brandon Adams, 32, to his Warren Way house on Friday, Barrow County sheriff”s spokesman Capt. Ryan Sears said. After Adams went to the bathroom, he returned with a gun and robbed Walker. Then Adams stabbed Walker repeatedly in the neck, Sears said.

When deputies arrived, Walker was lying adjacent to the roadway and had a wound on his neck. He was treated at a local hospital.
