A grandmother wanted on murder charges reportedly dyed her hair brown, Sandy Springs police said Friday.

Tonya Monroe, 45, is also wanted on charges of possession of methamphetamine and first-degree cruelty to children.

In previous photos, Monroe’s hair was blond.

Police got a call March 11 about an unresponsive baby at the Legends at Dunwoody Apartments off Colquitt Road, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. The baby was dead when they arrived.

A murder investigation started when the medical examiner confirmed the baby died from a methamphetamine overdose, police said.
