Two seniors at Lambert High School in Forsyth County were arrested after they allegedly attacked another student at the school, authorities said.

Landis Antonio Lee and Eusebio Martez Preston, both 17, were charged with aggravated battery after an incident in a basketball locker room Nov. 13, school district and sheriff’s officials told AJC.com.

The incident happened about 9 a.m. when Lee and Preston allegedly attacked an older student, sheriff’s spokesman Doug Rainwater confirmed.

The victim had serious facial injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The victim’s current condition is not known.

The suspects “have not been back to Lambert and have received an appropriate disciplinary consequence,” school district spokeswoman Jennifer Caracciolo said.

Preston was released from the Forsyth County Jail on $33,130 bond. As of Wednesday, Lee was in the jail under the same bond.
