A Gwinnett County man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a Cobb County woman.
Christian Anthony Kell Myler, 22, of Peachtree Corners, was booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center on Monday on a charge of felony hit-and-run, Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Wilbert Rundles said Tuesday in a news release.
According to police, Myler was driving a red 2017 Hyundai Sonata on the night of the May 27 collision that injured Maliqua Johnson.

The crash happened just before midnight on Holcomb Bridge Road near Crooked Creek Road near Peachtree Corners. Johnson, 28, of Smyrna, was crossing the road outside a crosswalk when she was hit by a southbound vehicle. The driver left the scene without helping the woman or calling 911, police said.
Johnson was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her status was not known Tuesday.
Myler has been released from the county jail on bond, Rundles said.
