Naked man hid inside apartment while teen was home

Police say the man said he was at the home for a job.

A naked man broke into a Johns Creek apartment and hid inside while a 16-year-old girl was home, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The man, identified as Kayed Said, told police he was there to clean the Medlock Bridge Road home, according to Channel 2.

“The father and son had arrived back and noticed the door was ajar,” Johns Creek Capt. Chris Byers told Channel 2. “They went in and found this guy standing in their apartment.”

Byers said the 16-year-old girl was home alone when Said broke in.

“Luckily, she didn't come into contact with him until her dad got a hold of him,” Byers said. “It was a very scary situation.”

Byers told Channel 2 that Said told them he was there to clean the floors, rattled off a list of companies and said he worked with apartment management.

Said, 34, of Acworth was charged with criminal trespass, according to Fulton County jail records. There was not enough evidence to charge him with burglary, Channel 2 reported. He has since bonded out of jail.
