One of the three men accused in the murder of a 68-year-old outside a DeKalb County gas station earlier this month has been arrested, police said.

Antonio Crowley, 21, turned himself in to DeKalb police, the agency announced in a tweet Wednesday.

Crowley is a suspect in the death of Jesse Turner III, who was shot to death Oct. 7 at a BP station at River and Panthersville roads, AJC.com previously reported.

Charlie Geddis, 22, and Tyler Anderson, 23, are still wanted in connection with Turner’s death.

The shooting happened after Turner was involved in a confrontation with the men, DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent previously said.

It’s unclear what led to the argument, but police said the three suspects were driving a red Nissan Altima that was reported stolen in August. That car was later found burning on River Road, which is about two miles from the gas station, Vincent said.

Police believe after setting fire to the car, the suspects left in a red or burgundy Chevrolet Tahoe with aftermarket rims.

The SUV is registered to Geddis, police said.

Police said they aren’t sure which suspect allegedly pulled the trigger.

Karltez White told Channel 2 Action News he is having a hard time making sense of his friend’s death.

“Everybody he touched, he just dropped knowledge on them, teaching them how to live life, how to be just a good human being,” he said. “I have never known this man to get into any altercation with anybody.”

Crowley was booked into the DeKalb jail Wednesday, where is he charged with felony murder and criminal trespass. He remains in jail without bond.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the other two suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call DeKalb police at 770-724-7850.

Jesse Turner III, 68, was killed Monday at the BP on Panthersville Road in Ellenwood as he was pumping gas.
