A 24-year-old faces murder charges in the case of a Hapeville man who was found dead along the side of the road with a gunshot wound to his head.

Emmanuel Bryant was charged with murder in the shooting death of 22-year-old Seth Gaston, Atlanta police said Monday. The arrest and charges come nearly two months after Gaston’s death.

Gaston’s body was found along the side of Waters Road in southwest Atlanta on Aug. 8. At that time, police did not confirm if his body was dumped there or he was shot and left for dead. Police are not sure of a motive.

Bryant was taken to the Fulton County jail.
