Three catering workers were arrested Friday at a Forsyth County high school during the filming of “Freaky Friday the 13th” starring Vince Vaughn.

Police were called about a car suspected of containing large amounts of drugs driving to the back parking area of Denmark High School, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Three unidentified suspects, who never entered the school, were detained, the news release said. Two of them were charged with trafficking methamphetamine after a K-9 unit allegedly found large amounts of the drugs inside the car.

The arrest happened just off the school’s campus and no students or staff members were involved, Principal Heather Gordy said in an email to parents.

The catering service was contracted by the movie production company, which finished filming Friday in the school’s auxiliary gym, according to Gordy.

“As you are aware, having a film company use our facility was a first for our school district and community,” Gordy said in the email. “Our school district will have to thoroughly evaluate this experience.”

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and police said additional arrests are possible.
