Phillip Resendez launched the chase after the California Highway Patrol tried to pull him over for recklessly driving his motorcycle.
Resendez throttled his sports bike through traffic, evading police in cars as well as on motorcycles.
To top it off, he stood on the seat of his bike as he fled and made obscene gestures.
Eventually the stunting suspect surrendered at a gas station and was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to yield.
While crowds cheered on Resendez, he complained about the highway patrol, saying, “Did he [officer] seriously have to try and kick me off my bike?"
