McGregor, a mother of four boys -- an 8-year-old, 4-year-old and 2-year-old twins --  said that she didn't want her children to see her bringing in their gifts through the front door of their apartment as they were in the living room watching TV, so she locked the presents in the van and was going to bring them in Saturday morning.

KCPQ reported that $200 worth of presents were taken away when her gray Honda Odyssey was stolen.

"My car is gone, our car seats are in there, our presents are in there," she told KCPQ. "I have been saving every penny … knowing what my kids really want, having that goal and saving (the money)."

McGregor said in a public Facebook post that her car was stolen "between 1:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m." after she returned from Black Friday shopping. Her plate number is BAW8719.

"I will take it back in any condition. I just need it to run," she said. "It would be nice if the car seats are still in there."

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help McGregor and her sons. It has surpassed its $2,000 goal.
