Police are seeking help in identifying the three men they say shot a man and robbed his wife in northwest Atlanta in July.

According to police spokeswoman Elizabeth Espy, the couple were walking on Cameron Alexander Boulevard to a grocery store July 22 when they saw three men carrying handguns walking in their direction. Two of the men were wearing ski masks, and the other had a green bandana tied around his face.

The men told other people in the area to keep moving, and approached the couple, Espy said.

The woman said one of the men with a ski mask pointed a gun and told her to “give me everything you got,” police said.

The woman told the man she did not have anything, and then he became upset, searched her and snatched a ring off her finger, Espy said. The woman said the man then started walking toward the other men and her husband.

The male victim said the other two men approached him at gunpoint and told him to empty his pockets, Espy said.

The male victim said he told the suspects all he had was loose change and a pack of cigarettes, Espy said. The male victim said the man wearing the ski mask standing to his right then fired twice, with one shot hitting the victim in his right calf. The man with the green bandana fired two shots, one hitting the male victim in the chest.

The men then ran westbound on Cameron Alexander Boulevard toward Joseph Lowery Boulevard, Espy said.

The shooting victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, Espy said. He also gave a statement to police at the hospital.
