Clayton County police are looking for man accused of attacking a teacher and her nephew at a Steak ’n Shake in Morrow.

Johnie Flakes is wanted on battery, cruelty to children and criminal damage in the Nov. 7 attack, according to Clayton County police spokeswoman Sgt. Ashanti Marbury. He was also charged with obstruction of a person making an emergency call.

The victim, a Henry County Schools teacher, was at a restaurant with her 16-year-old nephew when she was "brutally and viciously" attacked causing severe damage to her left eye. According to police, the incident occurred without provocation.

Flakes’ wife Wendy Carroll was arrested the day of the incident. She was charged with battery and obstruction of a 911 call.

Carroll, police say, refused to cooperate and provide information on Flakes’ whereabouts.
