A Henry County man will spend the rest of his life in prison for raping a woman in a Stockbridge apartment last year, authorities said.
Darryl Pressley Jr., 35, of Forsyth, was convicted of rape and aggravated sodomy Thursday, the Henry County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release. He was found guilty of sneaking inside a bedroom after a friend’s birthday party and raping a woman.
The woman said she was asleep when Pressley woke her up by taking off her pants before sexually assaulting her, the release said.
Pressley, who was given two life sentences, will have to register as a sex offender, the release said. No other information was released.
