An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found with a gunshot wound in DeKalb County on Tuesday morning, officials said.

DeKalb officers responded to a report of a body near Thurmond Drive in unincorporated Conley about 6:40 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent.

The man appeared to have been shot, she said. His identity has not been confirmed and no suspects have been identified, Vincent said.
