Man found dead in middle of southwest Atlanta street

A man was found dead with two gunshot wounds to the head early Monday in the middle of a southwest Atlanta street, police said.

The man’s body was found just after 1:35 a.m. on Grand Avenue, near Forrest Hills Drive, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said.

“At this time, there are no witnesses or suspects,” Jones said.

Police were investigating.

No other details were released.

The shooting happened during a domestic argument, according to investigators.

Firefighters were called Friday evening to the Fulton County Jail, according to a department spokesperson.

16-year-old was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive, according to authorities.
