A man is in jail after he allegedly sent graphic photos and messages to someone he knew was a child.

Stewart Myles Mitchell, 33, of Auburn, is charged with electronic enticement of a minor after Hall County investigators said he used a computer to engage in sexual conversations with a child he met online.

The conversations occurred between mid-February and March 12, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Mitchell sent images of himself “in various stages of undress” and discussed graphic sexual acts, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Scott Ware said.

“Also, Mitchell requested images of the child which were sexual in nature,” Ware said.

The child’s age was not released.

Mitchell was arrested Tuesday in the 500 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville. Deputies seized his computer and other items, which will be analyzed.

Ware said there is potential for more criminal charges in the case.

Mitchell was booked into the Hall County Jail. His bond has not been set.
