A man is in jail after police said he robbed a Cobb County drug store at gunpoint while wearing a motorcycle helmet, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Jayvious Lott was arrested at his home in Douglasville on Friday in connection with the Nov. 10 robbery at Thomas Drugs, the news station reported. The owner said it was the first time the store had been robbed since opening 40 years ago.

Surveillance video shows a man walking into the store and pulling out a gun. He then approaches the counter and passes a pharmacist a list and a bag, all while wearing the helmet.

The robber then jumps over the counter and follows the pharmacist to a safe, telling her to get on the ground, Channel 2 reported.

A witness pulled up at the drive-thru about that time and called 911, Channel 2 reported. “I pulled up to the window and I saw people laying on the floors,” Joshua Camp said.

The robber stole an array of prescription pills, including percocet and oxycodone, Channel 2 reported. He then sped away on his motorcycle.

Camp said he drove after the man, but the bike had no tag.

Police told Channel 2 they connected Lott to at least three other robberies, where he escaped on the motorcycle each time.

The robber came into the store with a list of drugs he wanted and forced the workers to the floor.
