Frank Nash of Woodstock was arrested Tuesday night, police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said.

Nash is accused of taking the campaign signs on Sunday.

He was released on a $1,000 bond, according to jail records.

Ossoff, a Democrat, is headed for a June runoff against Republican Karen Handel after falling short of an upset victory Tuesday in a nationally watched special election to replace Tom Price in the 6th Congressional District. Price vacated the seat when he was tapped to be President Donald Trump’s health secretary.
