A jury found a 19-year-old accused of sexually assaulting two women at a party not guilty on the two most serious charges he was facing.
Roger Dale Brock Jr. was convicted of a misdemeanor sexual battery charge Wednesday, said Lee Darragh, a spokesman for the Hall County district attorney.
That charge was downgraded from aggravated sexual battery, which he was initially facing in connection with the 2017 incident.
Charges arose against Brock after he allegedly raped one woman at a party at a residence on Tranquility Drive in Braselton and sexually assaulted a second woman that same night. Brock was acquitted of the rape charge.
He is scheduled to be sentenced for the misdemeanor April 10.
