Police are searching for a man who they say robbed DeKalb business while wearing long wigs.

DeKalb County police are searching for a man accused of robbing several businesses in a rather unusual disguise: long, flowing wigs.

The department’s criminal investigative division said the man, who has not been identified, has robbed several Waffle Houses, two drugstores and a bank while wearing various hairpieces.

Most recently, the man is accused of passing a note to a Waffle House waitress demanding money at the chain’s Lawrenceville Highway location in Tucker, police said in a Facebook post.

The note allegedly read “pass all the money,” authorities said.

After reading the note, the server ran from the register and the man fled the restaurant without getting any cash, police said.

Detectives have since linked him to similar robbery attempts at other Waffle Houses, a CVS, a Walgreens, a Dollar General and a PNC bank, authorities said.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance photos or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact DeKalb police at 770-724-7800.
