Landlord finds dead body at Atlanta rental home
A man’s body was discovered on the back porch of a home on Quaker Street in southwest Atlanta.

Sept 6, 2016A landlord who was preparing to show a southwest Atlanta rental home to a prospective tenant found a dead body on the property, Atlanta police said.
The owner of the Quaker Street home arrived to show the property when the man’s body was discovered Monday on the back porch of the vacant residence, Atlanta police Officer Kim Jones said.
Atlanta police are investigating the incident as a homicide, Jones said.
The dead man’s name has not been released, pending notification of the victim’s family.
