A shooting at an apartment in Cobb County left one man dead and another injured, police said Tuesday.

Cobb police were called to the Belmont Place Apartments in the 2800 block of Windy Hill Road shortly after 10 a.m., Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

When officers arrived, they found one man dead and another injured from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Police don’t know who pulled the trigger in the incident, which is being investigated as a homicide.

“Right now we don’t have any further information to really share,” he said.
