Woman hit by tractor-trailer in critical condition

A woman was hit by a tractor-trailer Monday near the intersection of Flat Shoals and Clifton Springs roads in DeKalb County, Channel 2 Action News reported.
DeKalb police said the woman was running across Flat Shoals Road in an attempt to beat the truck when she was hit, the news station reported.
She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
