A Decatur woman was arrested in Brookhaven Friday morning after police said she fired multiple shots at a car with three young children inside.

An Acworth man was driving with his wife and their three kids, ages 3 to 6, when he claimed a newer model Acura cut him off as he tried to merge into traffic on East Roxboro Road near North Druid Hills Road. The driver of the Acura, Knokeisha Tonisha Jones, allegedly admitted to police she brandished a weapon but said it was never fired.

Police, however, found two bullet holes in the family’s vehicle. Both drivers stayed on scene to speak with officers, who responded about 9:30 a.m., according to Brookhaven police.
