Police have arrested a man accused of shooting a UPS driver who was delivering packages in a South Fulton neighborhood last week.
Morianno Bailey, 28, was arrested Thursday by the Atlanta Police Department’s Auto Crimes Enforcement unit, said Lt. Derrick Rogers, spokesman for South Fulton police.
Bailey allegedly shot the delivery driver the afternoon of July 24 in the 3500 block of Umatilla Lane, police said previously.

It’s unclear how many times the 26-year-old driver was shot or what his condition is. Police have also not said what led to the shooting or whether Bailey knew the man before last week’s incident.
Bailey is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He remains held at the Fulton County Jail without bond.
Jail records show Bailey has been arrested five other times in Fulton County since 2009 on cocaine possession and domestic violence charges.
Rogers said additional arrests in the case are possible.
