Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a gunman and a getaway driver in connection with a shooting early Monday at a Bartow County convenience store.

Jonathan Michael Meyer, 30, of Clearwater, Fla., was shot about 3:35 a.m. at an Adairsville QuikTrip on Ga. 140, GBI spokesman Greg Ramey said.

Meyer was flown to Erlanger Hospital in critical condition.

The shooter was wearing a light T-shirt, a dark backpack and a dark ball cap, Ramey said.

After the shooting, the man got into got into the passenger side of a late ‘90s four-door Toyota sedan, perhaps a Camry.

The GBI released photos of the getaway driver and a witness in hopes that someone recognizes them.

The witness, who authorities believe may be able to identify the shooter, was seen in footage taken from QuikTrip surveillance cameras wearing a camouflage T-shirt.

She has a distinguishing mark or bruise on the inside of her left thigh above the knee.

Investigators are still reviewing footage from the QuikTrip to obtain a picture of the shooter.
