A Clayton County man has been charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children, according to the GBI.

Agents and officers with the Clayton County and Lilburn police departments arrested Joshua Mapson on Thursday, GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said Friday.

“This arrest came after an investigation ... into the possible sexual exploitation of children by Mapson via an online service,” she said in a news release.

The agency has made multiple arrests across the state as part of its efforts to identify people who are involved in the child pornography trade and the online sexual exploitation of children.
