A former GBI agent was found guilty of molesting three boys he met at a church where he worked, the Macon Telegraph reported Thursday.

Charles Woodall, 36, was convicted on six counts of child molestation, five counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes and one count of violation of oath, the paper reported.

Woodall worked at Northway Church, first as an intern and then as a student pastor, when the crimes occurred, the paper reported. He began working for the GBI in December 2011 as a crime scene specialist and was a field agent at the time of his 2015 arrest.

The prosecution called 11 men, all teenagers at the time, to testify against Woodall on molestations that occurred between 2005 and 2014 in Georgia and Tennessee, according to the Telegraph.

“Their stories are the same because the defendant is a pervert who hasn’t changed his playbook in 15 years,” prosecutor Nancy Scott Malcor said in court. “These men are telling the truth. They have nothing to gain by lying. … They’re saying these things because they’re true.”

Woodall’s lawyer, Charles Cox, vehemently denied the allegations, the paper reported. Cox also said there was no evidence his client purchased pornography and showed it to the men or that he bought a sex toy for them.

Woodall will be sentenced at a later date.
