A Florida teen accused of posing as a doctor has been arrested at a car dealership in Virginia,  WPTV News Channel 5 reported late Friday night.

Malachi Love-Robinson of West Palm Beach was attempting to purchase a car while using fraudulent employment information, according to WPTV.

Love-Robinson, 19, is facing charges in Palm Beach County after authorities alleged that he impersonated a doctor. He was arrested in February after authorities alleged that he opened a medical office in West Palm Beach and examined patients — including an undercover officer — without a license.

Love-Robinson defended himself, saying he had only practiced alternative medicine and had the proper certifications and licenses to do so.

He is accused of stealing money from at least one patient who visited his West Palm Beach practice. His case was expected to go to trial this month, but was postponed until November so that his attorney, Leonard Feuer, can evaluate whether an insanity defense is viable.

On Friday, he was arrested at a car dealership in Stafford, Virginia, while trying to use a family member’s credit card, WPTV reported.

An employee at the Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford said that Love-Robinson was in the process of being formally booked late Friday.
