FBI: White supremacist agreed to contract murder in Georgia

The self-professed founder of a violent white supremacy group was arrested in South Georgia last month after the FBI said he agreed to a contract murder, according to media reports.

Adrian Apodaca, a.k.a. “Skitz,” was arrested in Valdosta, the Daily Times reported. He pleaded not guilty to federal drug, robbery and weapons charges as well as murder-related charges Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The FBI began investigating Apodaca, 44, in Broward County, Fla., in May, the Sun Sentinel reported.

In a secretly recorded conversation with undercover FBI agents in Florida, Apodaca said he and several associates had posed as police officers and ripped off a drug house in Arizona, making close to $1 million, agents wrote. Apodaca also said his “skinhead” group had killed a lot of people.

In October, Apodaca agreed to complete a murder for hire that targeted a man in Valdosta who supposedly owed money to a fake white supremacist group, according to court records. The supposed murder target, along with the criminal organization, was made up by the FBI, the media reports said.
