The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information "leading to the recovery" of a 27-year-old woman who went missing from Cartersville last month, a spokesman said.

Heather D. McDonald was last seen in the area of U.S. 411 and I-75 on Sept. 18, FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett said.

A tip led the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to believe McDonald, a mother of three, was last seen in the Courtesy Inn parking lot before her disappearance, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Her red Jeep Wrangler was found in the parking lot of the motel. The doors were wide open, her keys were on the ground, and her ID and cellphone were missing.

McDonald is 5-foot-2, weighs 105 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair, Emmett said.

Her family also is offering a $4,000 reward.
